2021 FCF Christmas Drinks and Award presentations

The FLEURIEU COMMUNITY FOUNDATION held its annual Christmas ‘Drinks and Award presentation event recently at the Victor Harbor Bowling Club.

The exciting night gave Chairman, Brad Butler, the opportunity to review and reminisce on a successful 12 months and announce plans for 2022.

Jess Stevens, the Foundations new deputy chairperson and chairperson of the Homelessness Working Group spoke of the work this enthusiastic group have been involved in. She was followed by Jodie Price, Junctions Homelessness Intervention Officer, who spoke of the number of people who have been assisted over the last year and her plans for 2022.

The work of the Homelessness Working Group is very impactful in our community and can always use extra hands.

The Fleurieu Community Foundation provides many  awards and Lacey Hill was a happy recipient on Monday night of the 2021 Wally Bradley Scholarship Award.

Lacey has been accepted to study Nursing at Flinders and will make use of the Award to fund a new laptop.

The Foundation would like to thank every one whom has supported the Foundation including the Councils of Victor Harbor, Alexandrina , the Encounter Bay Rotary Club, Victor Harbor Rotary Club, Strathalbyn Rotary Club, our local member, David Basham and the 100 club members.
