Since launching in 2012, the Foundation's Stay in Sport program has assisted 38 young athletes from across the region to remain engaged in sport - helping with expenses such as subs and uniforms.
The second round assisted 10 young athletes from South Coast Little Athletics and 6 junior players from Encounter Bay Cricket Club by providing $50 'vouchers' to assist with compulsory fees associated with thier sport.

This has helped a family in financial difficulty who could not afford their subscriptions or the purchase a uniform this season. Without the co-contribution of the club and the Fleurieu Community Foundation Stay In Sport grant the family would have dropped out.
